This Cookie Policy explains how Subsidy Scoop uses cookies and similar technologies, including local storage, session storage and comparable identifiers.

1. Necessary Technologies

Strictly necessary technologies may be used without optional consent where they are required to provide a service you request or to secure the site. They may support session continuity, authentication, preservation of a funding scan, checkout, fraud prevention, security and storage of your cookie preferences.

2. Analytics Technologies

If analytics is enabled, it may be used to understand page usage, scan completion, checkout progression, performance and errors. Where consent is required by applicable EU rules, analytics technologies are disabled until you choose to allow them.

3. Marketing Technologies

If advertising, retargeting, marketing attribution or similar technologies are introduced, they will be treated as optional marketing technologies and will not be activated before consent where consent is legally required.

4. Stripe

Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies during checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention and security. Some Stripe technologies may be strictly necessary for the payment flow. Stripe's own privacy and cookie information applies to Stripe's processing.

5. Lovable and Technical Infrastructure

Lovable and infrastructure used to build, host or operate the application may process technical information necessary to deliver and secure the Service. The live cookie settings should reflect the technologies actually present on the production domain; cookies used on lovable.dev itself are not automatically treated as cookies used by Subsidy Scoop.

6. Consent Choices

Where non-essential cookies or similar technologies are present, the site should offer clear choices such as Accept all, Reject non-essential, and Manage preferences. Optional categories must remain disabled until valid consent is given where required.

7. Withdrawing or Changing Consent

You can change your choices at any time through the Cookie Settings link in the website footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

8. Browser Controls

You may also delete or block cookies through your browser. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent some parts of Subsidy Scoop from functioning correctly.

9. Actual Cookie Inventory

The production application should maintain an up-to-date cookie/technology inventory inside the Cookie Settings interface, including the technology/provider, purpose, category and approximate duration where applicable. This policy must be updated if the site later adds analytics, marketing pixels or other non-essential tracking.
